We have all been shaken from last nights devastating fire in our community. I can't even imagine what those who lost everything are going through. Many leaving in a panic with just their child, pet, or simply a phone. The Red Cross is looking for cash donations to help the displaced tenants. So we will be donating 500$ towards the fire fund, and starting on Monday, 25% of *ALL* Peony sales for the week will be going towards that fund. And a big thank you to our first responders for all their selfless work.
One thing I’ve always said is our community of Maple Ridge SHOWS UP whenever it’s needed & right now so many people need us after last night’s devastating fire. This Monday to Wednesday 10% of all our sales at our Maple ridge location will go directly to which ever charity gives back the best to the people who were displaced by the fire including any online orders. Also if anyone from the apartment building needs anything that we have in our store to help replace even just a few items we would be more than happy to give you a family discount We are sorry this has happened .

We are hoping to set traps as soon as we have access to the area affected by the fire. If you are missing an animal from the fire, please email info@cdart.org with your name, contact information, address where missing and description of the animal (and photo if possible.)
Late last night a devastating fire occurred at the Edge 2 and Edge 3 apartment buildings. The fire continues to burn and all street access to the buildings and to St Patrick’s parish remain CLOSED.
The entire Edge apartment building has been evacuated and thanks to the local community, all those affected have been cared for. Our own parishioners who reside in Edge have also moved to family and friends’ homes.
What can you do? Offer prayers – please pray for all the residents who have been displaced. Pray for our local firefighters and officials. And pray that our local community rallies around this unfortunate situation to restore what has been lost.
We have already been overwhelmed by messages from our parish community, offering to help. At this time we are coordinating our efforts and seeking to understand the full extent of what is needed. As such – while you may be ready to help with food, clothing, donations, etc.. – we ask you to pause on your generosity until we are able to receive and distribute help to those affected.
We will continue to provide updates on our Facebook pages and website; however if you wish to contribute to any support efforts that we are able to organize, please join this mailing list.
We will continue to provide updates on our Facebook pages and website; however we are anticipating that the need will be great, which would include temporary housing and financial assistance, among other things. Please let us know if you would like to help.
