The Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association is holding an outdoor Summer Market on the last Saturday of the summer months in Memorial Peace Park.
Come discover a new kind of shopping experience: the vendors are from downtown businesses, and they’re out to prove that you can find anything you need in Maple Ridge.

The Summer Market will be held in conjunction with the Haney Farmers’ Market, which will promote supporting independent businesses at the same time as supporting local growers. There will be live music, food, kids’ activities and entertainment in a fun street-market atmosphere.

The dates are: Saturday, June 29, July 27 , August 31 and September 28, from 9 am to 2 pm in Memorial Peace Park (224^th St.)  Call 604-467-2420 for details.

Ever get caught in the street in a downpour without an umbrella? Looked out the window of your favourite shop to see that the skies have opened while you were browsing?

Recently the BC Ministry for Small Business in collaboration with several partners have launched the Micro Business Training project whereby you can access up to $1500 worth of world class training (provided you meet the criteria) to help you in your small business.
