When the poll closed on Wednesday April 15th, voters had cast votes for their favourite businesses in 32 categories.

We are very excited to hand out the first place awards in each category at our AGM.

We hope everyone enjoyed taking the poll, and maybe even discovered some businesses or services through it!
With over 700 businesses, there's something for everyone in Downtown Maple Ridge.

Each winner will receive a personalized, commemorative plaque recognizing their achievements, presented to them at the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association's Annual General Meeting on Monday May 7th.
We would love to see all the finalists, and other business members, in attendance to cheer on their fellow business owners.
After all, these awards are about celebrating our entire Downtown Maple Ridge business community! The public is welcome to join us for the AGM and awards ceremony.

Maple Ridge Response to Fraser River Freshet

The BC River Forecast Centre has issued a High Stream Flow Advisory for the Fraser River. As a precaution, the City of Maple Ridge has activated the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) to Level 1 and is closely monitoring conditions along the river and conducting daily dyke inspections. The EOC will be active and meeting daily until the river levels have receded.

Council has decided to have the Maple Ridge Public Library open on Sundays through the summer, starting in 2018. It has been past practice for the Library to be closed on Sundays outside of the school year (late July to after the Labour Day weekend).

The Business Watch program in Maple Ridge has been up and running for one year. The RCMP and BIA have spoken to approx. 150 businesses in the target area. Just to remind everyone the target area is located between 222nd to 224th Street, from Dewdney Trunk Rd to Lougheed Hwy.
