MapleRidgeAs an outcome to the recent meeting with local downtown businesses, Film Industry representatives and City staff, the Economic Development office will be sharing information about what can be expected during specific filming productions in the downtown core via an email notification.

Please find attached a notice regarding the updated procedures for Filming in Downtown Maple Ridge.

In order for businesses to receive these notifications, they will need to sign up to "Notify Me" on our City web site.  The following are the instructions:

Once the individual has signed up on Notify Me, they can then choose which newsletters they'd like to subscribe to.

When we have filming activity in the downtown, we will post the resident letter as well as any other pertinent information that is not considered confidential.

On Thursday, May 31, 2018 the level of the Fraser River dropped below 5.5 metres at the Mission gauge for the first time since mid-May. The BC River Forecast Centre has ended their High Streamflow Advisory for the Fraser River. The latest information can be found here bcrfc.env.gov.bc.ca/warnings/index.htm.

The Business Watch program in Maple Ridge has been up and running for one year. The RCMP and BIA have spoken to approx. 150 businesses in the target area. Just to remind everyone the target area is located between 222nd to 224th Street, from Dewdney Trunk Rd to Lougheed Hwy.
